“The Russell Way” is a collaborative research project directed by Dr. María Estela Brisk, Dr. Patrick Proctor, and Dr. Laura O’Dwyer at Boston College and funded by the Boston College Collaborative Fellows program. The purpose of this research is to examine how the implementation of a genre-based writing curriculum writing and an understanding of how to foster student discussions around academic texts impact the literacy and language proficiency outcomes for bilingual students in grades PK-5.
This website provides access to project resources and is a private and secure site for uploading and viewing videos of the classroom instruction of participating teachers.
